The RCCG project was conceived as a large-span worship environment designed to accommodate thousands of people while maintaining comfort, clarity, and a sense of connection across the entire space. The challenge was creating a structure that could support large gathering volumes without feeling distant or overwhelming. Beyond scale, the space needed to consider acoustics, airflow, circulation, and the pace of construction.
Using Moulding Technologies' EPS building systems, the project explored a construction approach that reduced structural weight while allowing faster execution and greater flexibility in shaping large interior volumes. The lightweight system enabled cleaner spans, more efficient installation processes, and a construction workflow that reduced delays typically associated with traditional methods.

The completed auditorium became more than a gathering space; it became an environment designed around experience. Large uninterrupted spans created better visibility throughout the venue, while thermal efficiency and acoustic considerations improved comfort for occupants during high-capacity events. The project demonstrated how innovative building systems can support architecture at scale without compromising speed, functionality, or human experience.
